Yaesu FTM-150RASP FM Dual Band Mobile Transceivers

Yaesu FTM-150RASP FM Dual Band Mobile Transceivers offer true dual-band operation, allowing two different receivers to operate on separate bands or within the same band (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V). Its high-resolution Graphical Dot-matrix display provides a clear and crisp view of the radio's operating status. The front panel is detachable, and with the optional SJMK-500 swing-head, you can adjust the angle for easy mobile operation.

These mobile transceivers deliver a power output of 55W on VHF and 50W on UHF, with selectable options of 55W, 50W, 25W, and 5W. The heavy-duty heatsink with Funnel Air Convection Conductor (FACC) ensures stable and reliable TX power.

The FTM-150RASP features a front speaker built into the control head, which, combined with the main body speaker, provides a total of 6W of high-quality audio (3W from the front speaker and 3W from the main body speaker). The volume level of the main body speaker is adjustable (0-100%) relative to the front panel speaker to suit user preferences.

Notable Features of the FTM-150RASP:

- Super-DX and Audio Digital Signal Processor boosts and enhances receiver sensitivity and improves weak signal reception. When the Super-DX key is pressed, the Audio Digital Signal Processing Unit (ASP) is activated, ensuring reliable audio quality for weak signals and extending the communication range.

- High-Resolution Band Scope Up to 47 channels can be displayed with the Scope operation. By rotating the left DIAL knob, the frequency range can be centered and the signal at the center marker is received. By rotating the right DIAL knob, the marker can be moved across the display and the signal at the marker is received.

- PMG (Primary Memory Group) Up to 5 VFO or Memory Channel frequencies may be assigned to the PMG (Primary Memory Group). The reception status of the PMG channels is displayed in real time with a bar graph in the PMG screen. The AUTO or MANUAL mode is switchable by pressing and holding the Main VFO knob during PMG operation. The AUTO mode simultaneously shows up to two channels when signals are received. Transmit is automatically moved to the received channel. In the MANUAL mode, transmit and receive stays on the manually selected channel. The signal received on the other channel is shown on the screen and the audio can be heard.

- CFL (Customized Function List) Up to 9 frequently used functions from the 62 Menus can be registered and then easily selected.

- MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) Memory channels can be automatically grouped and recalled for each band. The new “My Group” feature in MAG permits selection of any memory channel regardless of band.

- VFO Band Skip function Bands that are not normally used can be set to hide.

- Optional Hands-free Bluetooth Operation is achieved by installing the optional Bluetooth® unit – BU-5, hands-free operation is available with the optional Bluetooth® headset SSM-BT20 or a commercially available Bluetooth® product. (Not included)
