The GX1300 ECLIPSE is an affordable ultra-compact ITU-R M.493-13 Class D VHF radio that has been re-engineered to meet the IPX8 submersible waterproof rating of 4.92 feet for 30 minutes, redesigned with a new Easy to Operate Icon/Menu System featuring an oversized full dot matrix LCD (31 mm x 55 mm) to increase the size of the channels and navigation information* displayed. Simple installation, the radio's rear chassis has also been reduced to 5.9" deep for greater mounting flexibility in tight spaces. The NEW ECLIPSE has been updated with some great new features, including DSC Test Calling and Automatic Position Polling making this a perfect choice for the budget conscious mariner in need  of a full featured Marine VHF. ITU-R M493-13 Class D Digital Selective Calling 

The GX1300 Eclipse is an ITU-R M493-13 Class D class VHF with a separate Channel 70 receiver, which allows DSC calls to be received even when listening to communications. 

The DSC DISTRESS function when activated transmits a digital MAYDAY including vessel identification, Latitude / Individaul, Urgency, Safety, Position Report and Send. 

Additional features include DSC test call and menu selection for Auto DSC channel switching. 

Oversized Display 

New larger full dot matrix display (Viewable Image 31 mm x 51 mm) with bright bold backlighting makes the GX1300 easily seen from any location on the boat. 

Easy to Operate Menu System 

Now loaded with an easy to use menu system. Operation of you VHF is now much more intuitive for all user types. 

Compact rear case 

Same powerful radio as traditional Eclipse models now with a narrower rear case design (20 mm reduction) for easier mounting in tight spaces. 

3 - Year waterproof warranty 
If the GX1300 Eclipse fails for any reason (Including water damage) during normal use for the first 3 years of ownership, STANDARD HORIZON will repair or replace it free, without hassles or charges. If it fails for anytime thereafter in normal use, for as long as the orginal purchaser owns the radio, STANDARD Horizon's Lifetime Flat Rate and Customer Loyalty Service Programs will cover it.
