Dual Band Analog Plus C4FM Mobile Transceiver

A compact, high performance mobile radio that provides both analog and C4FM digital FM operation with plenty of power to help with distant simplex contacts or far away repeaters. It's compact size allows it to be mounted or used in most any place.

QVGA Full-Color, High Resolution TFT Display.
With the 2-inch TFT color screen you can see the display in most all lighting conditions. Strong sun won't wash-out this screen. Frequency, power, and operation bands stand are easy to read.

Visual Band Scope Function
Now you can monitor up to 63 channels (21 channels in memory channel mode), centered around the current VFO in real time. A great visual feature to find activity in your area.

The FTM-300DR is built with a very, heavy-duty heat sink. Yaeusu's exclusive FACC (Funnel Air-Convection Conductor - Wind Tunnel) heat sink design means extended operations at high power are possible with this advanced cooling system.

At 50 Watts you get stable and reliable power. Multiple power level settings of 5W, 25W, or 50W allows you to set the right RF power for your needs.

Real Dual Band Operation (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V) Two independent receivers means you get true dual band radio operation. Unlike previous models, The FTM-300DR supports simultaneous C4FM digital monitoring for both the A and B band. A very flexible convenience.

Memory Channel and Auto Grouping
One of the more advanced features of the FTM-300dr is the Memory Channel Band Auto Grouping (MBAG). This feature allows memory channel to automatically be categorized in each band, and memory channels can be easily and quickly recalled by four (4) Band Groups

Crisp, Clear Audio
With three (3) Watts of audio power you will get crisp and clear audio. And Yaesu went a step further and specifically tuned the audio path for quality audio. For external audio there are two, individual speaker jacks provided. VFO A is on one and VFO B is on another. You can also mix them both into a single external speaker is so desired.

Built-in Bluetooth
No longer an accessories. Bluetooth is now built it . You can enjoy hands-free operation with our optional SSM-BT10 or most commercially available Bluetooth headsets. The SSM-BT10 is equipped with a PTT button and also supports VOX. Use the new USB charger cable - SCU-41 with the controller of the FTM-300DR, the SSM-BT10 can be easily charged. You get 20 hours of operation of the SSM-BT10 (approx.) on single charge.

WiRES-X
Both WiRES-X Portable Digital Node function and Fixed Node function with the HRI-200 are supported. Since simultaneous C4FM monitoring on both VFO A and VFO B is possible, users can enjoy both WiRES-X communications on one channel while monitoring another local channel at the same time. A real innovation.

The FTM-300DR includes DG-ID(Digital ID) Group Monitor. Positional awareness from the built-in 66ch High Sensitivity GPS receiver enabling Real Time Navigation. A backtrack feature. A GPS terminal so you can plug in your own external GPS receiver. 1200/ 9600 APRS data modem for APRS mode. Voice Recording of both RX and TX audio. The ability to save and load data including configuration and memory channel information to a micro SD card. And a snapshot function using the optional MH-85A11U camera microphone.
